About Me
I've been working as a professional User Experience Designer, in some form or another, for over twenty-five years.
User Experience Designer is a broad term. During my career I have been a Web Designer, a Service Design, an Interaction Design, a Product Design, and a Producer. All those roles have been given suffixes and prefixes like Senior, and Lead, and Head of, and somewhat embarrassingly, Guru.
I am based in Yorkshire, UK and work onsite, remote and globally.
This Website
There are so many versions of this website.
There is the version which is all bleeding edge graphic design, there is the version which uses Front End tricks to make something playful, there is the version which dumps entire Project Files online.
This is the version which tells stories around User Experience design, because I think that UX is about stories. Every one of these stories and case studies are a snapshot of months and years of experience, and somethings are always left out.

Names & Things
In some cases the names of people, and even the names of companies, have been changed or removed. Sometimes this is out of a sense of politeness, and sometimes it is because the Agencies I was working with might want to blur my employment with them. Some designs & screenshots have been amended or edited to ensure that personal data is never shared.
