Everyone knows that design makes a good website but a good website does not work without development but — after a decade or so of seeing this from both sides — I know what to do to protect both sides.
Everyone thinks they can run a blog and everyone can but there is a difference between spewing out LiveJournal entries and a corporate communication. I know this because I created a code of conduct for a company who wanted to blog productively.
Everyone has an opinion on web usability Guru Jakob Neilsen. I’ve interviewed him for movie website 484s and the quote above comes from his favourite film.
I’ve consulted on big Government projects and helped companies set up processes and practices which get the best out of their resources. I’m a fairly mouth-on sort of person and often cannot help but give some advice.
That the advice is good, worth following and comes from years of experience, is why I mention consulting.
